From “Thresholds of the Mind” by Bill Harris
The Witness part of you knows all along that life is just a game, and that you’re making it up as you go along. To be really conscious, you must learn to come at life from the Witness perspective. There really is no other way. One way to do this is to consider yourself an actor in a play, who consciously chooses the meaning of the unfolding story line. In this actor role, You’re both author and Witness to what is happening. As long as you understand that you’re an actor in a drama, life is fun and suffering falls away.
